About the Client.
At Octopus Healthcare company delivers a better healthcare experience by investing in GP surgeries, care homes, and retirement villages. Octopus works closely with the NHS, healthcare professionals, operators, and developers to create inspired surroundings that transform local communities.
Challenge.
The website consisted of three pages: Portfolio, News, and Team pages. The key challenge for us was the map that showed all locations from portfolio that worked with Octopus Healthcare, and filter feature for this map that allowed a user to see locations only of some special types.
Solution.
Newsroom Page
The main task was to show on a single page articles from different sections: news section, comments section, news from LinkedIn, news from twitter, and many more. All of the above-mentioned information had to be sorted and presented with a clear structure.

Octopus Healthcare had a dedicated team of over 50 people with experience across the UK and Ireland health and care sectors. So, the key challenge was to find a fast way on how to find the contact information of the needed specialist.

The product was created on WordPress CMS with an ACF plugin that let the admin very simply add news or edit any content on a website without using any tags.
The website run on Google App Engine, making it faster and more secure against DDoS attacks and SQL injections.
