About the Client.
Octopus Ventures is one of Europe’s largest Venture Capital teams. Headquartered in London and New York, with venture partners in San Francisco, Singapore and China, they help entrepreneurs scale globally.
Challenge.
Due to the rapid products growth, it had become important for a client to sync data across different systems and actualize information as much as possible. We were asked to create a solution that could make this happen, for all of the client’s existing websites.
Solution.
Analysis
For each of the existing eight systems in production, we analyzed the sites to understand the complexity of the work, as well as ways how to make a new solution more generic.
Links
In addition to all the changes made in the front end, we ensured that all of the changes for the current Google Links in the Back End were updated to reflect the new system requirements.
Cooperation
The client was very happy with the work and asked us to create two additional new sites for them using the previously defined structure and approach.
Management
Using an industry-standard approach, we worked with the client to ensure that the Release Management process was streamlined through a series of environments [as per best practice SDLC].

It is a set of standards across all the websites that ensures that it is easier to maintain and faster to implement new websites.
