About Vacancy
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual QA Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing web applications, backend services, microservices architecture, and databases, specifically MSSQL. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through detailed manual and automation testing (using Testlum) and effective collaboration with the development team. -
You Will
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features and functionalities.
- Perform manual and automation testing (Testlum) across various components of the application, including UI, backend services and microservices architecture, to identify, document, and track bugs and defects.
- Work closely with the development team to understand the application architecture, especially the integration and interaction between different components such as the frontend, backend services, and MSSQL database.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met before product releases.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of testing activities, including test results, bug reports, and regression tests.
- Participate in sprint planning, review meetings, and agile processes, providing timely feedback on quality and user experience aspects

You Have
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a focus on web, backend services, and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in testing applications built on MSSQL databases and understanding of SQL queries for test data preparation and verification.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and document bugs and defects accurately.
- Experience with automation testing via Testlum (or readiness to learn)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or similar for managing test cases and defects.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes is a plus.
- Self-motivated, with a passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and testing practices.
