About Vacancy

You Will

• Implement and own all aspects of SRE, Testing and Observability.
• Report directly to the CEO and CTO. Look at what we have implemented to date, work with us to improve it and build the team under you as we scale.
• We want THE SRE pyramid in place to enable us to delight our customers in an industry with an average NPS of 4/10.

• Work alongside Product, Engineering and Customers to drive continuous improvement of eco-system.
• Understand requirements, design, and implement resilient and scalable infrastructure and testing solutions.
• Operate, monitor, and triage all aspects of our production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with other engineers on code, infrastructure, design reviews, and process enhancements
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system reliability, security, and performance.
• Develop and implement automation to provision, configure, deploy, and monitor services.
• Participate in an on-call rotation providing hands-on technical expertise during service-impacting events.
• Contribute to capacity planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises
• Approach operational problems from both end user and engineering mindsets

You Have

• Proven experience at high growth startup or large scale company with, highly available fault-tolerant systems.
• Demonstrable commercial experience in a SRE and/or Observability.
• Knowledge of AWS, iOS, Android, operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management.
• Awareness of key security principles including encryption.
• Strong sense of ownership, with a desire to communicate and collaborate with other engineers and teams.
• Ability to identify and communicate technical and architectural problems, while working with partners and their team to iteratively find solutions.
